We are delighted to announce the launch of Turas Fíona (Wine Journey), a unique series of wine talks and tastings set to unfold throughout 2025. Following the overwhelming success of its recent wine events, this new initiative promises to elevate the experience with six exclusive evenings featuring distinguished national and international speakers.

Welcome to Turas Fíona – Stories, Tastes, and Discoveries
Turas Fíona invites guests to delve into the heart of wine through immersive evenings hosted at Daróg Wine Bar in Galway. Each event will feature renowned wine writers, sommeliers, and industry experts, sharing their passion and insights. From exploring flavour profiles to uncovering winemaking techniques, attendees will discover the artistry, heritage, and personal stories behind exceptional wines.

Inaugural Event: A Night with Dorli Muhr
The series begins with a special evening featuring esteemed Austrian winemaker Dorli Muhr, whose passion for wine and dedication to sustainability have inspired wine lovers worldwide.

  • Time: 6:30pm – 7:30pm

  • Location: Daróg Wine Bar, 56 Lower Dominick St, Galway City

  • Price: €30 per person (includes a curated wine flight: 5 wines x 60ml each)

Dorli’s winemaking journey began during her university studies in French and Spanish and has evolved into a lifelong pursuit of excellence. She now manages her vineyards on the Spitzerberg, certified organic since 2018, with a focus on finesse and elegance through natural winemaking methods. Guests will gain unique insights into her philosophy and methods during this engaging evening.
