Each year, we feature six exceptional artists, offering a rotating collection that celebrates diverse styles, mediums, and perspectives. Every piece displayed adds to the unique character of Daróg and offers our guests the chance to connect with the heart of local artistry.

TIFFANI LOVE
Echoes of the Coast, a new exhibition by Tiffani Love at Daróg Wine Bar. Originally from Northern New York and now based in the West of Ireland, Love’s work is deeply connected to place, guided by movement, observation, and immersion in the landscape. Her process involves walking the terrain to build a relationship with it before responding through paint. The result is a body of work that captures the shifting nature of place, where past and present intertwine beneath the surface.
AIDEEN MONAGHAN
‘No Small Stones’ by Aideen Monaghan, the first exhibition of 2025 on our Gallery Wall at Daróg, featuring the extraordinary work of Aideen Monaghan.
Through this series, Aideen reflects on how human intervention shapes and manipulates the natural world. Her work uncovers beauty, mystery, and vitality often overlooked or unseen, reminding us of art's transformative power to make the invisible visible.
CAROL KELLY
‘Colourful Whispers’ – A vibrant new exhibition on our gallery wall in Daróg Wine Bar by Carol Kelly.
Carol is a professional Irish artist hailing from the West of Ireland, her work radiates positivity and energy. Carol’s contemporary abstract paintings are alive with bold hues, dynamic brushstrokes, and luxurious touches of gold leaf, all sealed with a clear varnish for a striking finish.
ADRIENNE M. FINNERTY
We are excited to showcase the stunning works of abstract artist, Adrienne M. Finnerty, known for her vibrant use of colour, texture, and form.
Based in Spiddal, on the Wild Atlantic Way, Adrienne draws inspiration from nature, the sea and the rugged beauty of Connemara, as well as her extensive travels, with past collections inspired by Africa, India, Brazil, and Vietnam. With a career spanning 25 years, her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, from Paris to the USA, Athens, Germany, and beyond.
ELENA MORENO
Daróg Wine Bar is proud to announce the upcoming exhibition, "Impressions of the West," featuring the captivating works of Spanish artist Elena Moreno. The exhibition will run from 3rd September to 14th October 2024 on the Gallery Wall at Daróg Wine Bar, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the rugged beauty of the West of Ireland through Elena’s masterful paintings.
TATIANA DOBOS
Ceramic artist Tatiana Dobos unveils her latest collection, ‘Folds of Stillness,’ at Daróg Wine Bar in Galway city. The exhibition features eight captivating artworks that delve into a realm of vibrant hues and serene compositions.
LIDIA DE LANGE
Lidia De Lange works primarily in oil on canvas, choosing to build her narrative with representational images. Her work revolves around figures, portraits, and plants. She strives to develop a visual language that maintains an emotional connection with the figure while allowing viewers to form their own subjective interpretations of the image.
LORRAINE FLETCHER
Lorraine's inspiration comes from two sources. Firstly, her love of wildlife and nature, and secondly from the connections and relationships between family and friends, using animal imagery to depict how we as humans feel and the emotions we face in everyday life.
HELEN CAIRD
Caird’s playful yet profound drawings and collages celebrate the interconnected beauty of nature. Through her use of gold, she not only adds visual allure but also symbolizes the inherent preciousness of the natural world.
NANCY KLEIN
Nancy Klein is a botanical artist, and sculptor who enjoys making art with natural materials, such as moss and her own handmade plant based inks. She is co-owner of Galway Bay Tattoo in Galway, and exhibits her work throughout the West. Nancy combines naturalistic and graphic styles to depict the local ecology that inspires her.
HILARY MORLEY
Hilary Morley is a mixed media artist who specialises in collage, painting and charcoal drawing. She reflects everyday experiences in her work, through personal representations of landscape and the familiar sights of West Galway city. She is a member of Engage Art Studios in Salthill, Galway and exhibits widely.
EDEL MCMAHON
Edel McMahon is a graphic designer and illustrator based in the West of Ireland. Co-owner of Daróg, much of her artwork illustrates the themes of food and nature. Edel utilises bright colours and bold illustrations in all her illustrations.

Brenda creates paintings inspired by the wild and abundant beauty of the rural landscape and miles of sandy beaches along the Wild Atlantic Way. Capturing light and atmosphere is at the core of her work.
