Hilary Morley’s exhibition ‘Into the Sea’ encapsulate the sheer joy and vibrant energy she experiences at the Blackrock Diving Tower. After a refreshing swim, she sits on the rocks, observing the lively scene: chatty kids, bashful teens, audacious show-offs, and mid-lifers, all taking the leap from the tower’s peak. This glorious madness brings a smile to everyone around, creating a shared moment of pure delight. Hilary finds the medium of collage using colored papers to be perfect for capturing the scene’s vividness—the variety of jump styles and the choppy sea welcoming every daring diver.
