At Daróg, we take great pride in offering a wine list that reflects our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and the artistry of winemaking. 

Our award-winning wine list is carefully curated by owner Zsolt Lukács. With 12 years of experience as a sommelier at the Michelin-starred Aniar Restaurant, Zsolt’s passion lies in showcasing the craftsmanship of small artisan producers who share our passion for organic, biodynamic, and sustainable practices.

Our diverse collection embodies the dedication of these producers, who strive to create wines that resonate with the terroir and the environment in which they are cultivated. We collaborate with wine producers who primarily employ organic, biodynamic, or artisanal methods in cultivating their wines. From modern funky to classic wines, each wine on our list tells a story of tradition, innovation, and a profound respect for nature.

We have a selection of over 30 wines available by the glass, with 4-5 specials showcased on our blackboard. Our blackboard wines change weekly, and our wine list is constantly evolving to reflect new and exciting offerings.

WINE EVENTS
Our Turas Fíona series—meaning ‘Wine Journey’ in Irish—brings this philosophy to life through intimate, storytelling-driven wine events. Each Turas Fíona is a unique opportunity to meet winemakers , wine writers, sommeliers, and industry professionals, hearing first hand the stories behind their wine journey, while enjoying a carefully curated tasting experience.

WINE FLIGHTS
In addition, our Fíon Focus is a delightful exploration of the world of wine. Inspired by the Irish word for wine, "Fíon," this initiative allows us to shine a spotlight on diverse grape varieties and talented winemakers every month, celebrating the rich tapestry of flavours and aromas that the global wine community has to offer. AWARDS
Over the past year, we have been truly humbled by the recognition we’ve received for our dedication to providing an exceptional wine experience. In May 2024, we were awarded the Connaught and All-Ireland titles for Best Wine Experience at the Irish Restaurant Association Awards. In October 2023, we were awarded ‘Best Sustainable Wine List by Star Wine List. Additionally in November 2023, we were awarded Best Wine Experience in Connaught at the Food & Wine Awards.
