Féasta: A Long Table Pop-Up Celebrating Galway’s Climate Action Festival

At Daróg Wine Bar, we are thrilled to announce our collaboration on a truly special event: Féasta, a long table pop-up curated by Hinterland, in conjunction with the inaugural Galway Climate Inspirations Festival. As the autumn season brings us together to celebrate the harvest and the gathering of communities, Féasta promises to be an extraordinary evening filled with local flavours, sustainability, and community spirit.

What is Féasta?

Féasta is more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of Galway’s rich local produce and the people who cultivate it. The concept is simple yet powerful: every ingredient on the table is sourced from Galway County or Galway Bay, ensuring that everything is as local and sustainable as possible. This culinary experience is guided by Michelin-starred Chef Enda McEvoy, who, along with a talented team of chefs, will be transforming simple, seasonal ingredients into an unforgettable feast.

A Showcase of Local Talent and Produce

Working with Galway community garden growers, community groups, and local producers, the team of chefs has designed a menu that highlights the incredible diversity and quality of the region’s produce. The event will showcase the hard work and dedication of the Galway City Community Gardens and the United Women Galway community group, bringing together the best of what our local land and sea have to offer.

An Evening to Remember

Set in the beautiful Printworks on Market Street, Féasta will be an evening of camaraderie, conviviality, and climate inspiration. From the moment the doors open at 6:00pm guests will be welcomed with a drink and live entertainment, setting the stage for a night to remember. At 6:30pm, everyone will take their seats at the long table to enjoy a meal that not only nourishes the body but also celebrates the connection between food, people, and place.

At Daróg, we are particularly excited to offer wine from our sustainable wine list, carefully selected to complement the evening’s menu and enhance the dining experience. Whether you prefer wine, beer, or soft drinks, there will be plenty of options available to suit every palate.
