This week marks Irish Raw Milk Cheese Week from June 23 – 29.
In Ireland, we're blessed to be surrounded by amazing producers and cheesemakers. The Irish Raw Milk Cheese Presidia is dedicated to showcasing these exceptional cheeses and their unique flavours that truly translate our beautiful landscape into taste.
At Daróg, our cheese selection always features the finest Irish cheeses. This week, we're shining the spotlight on two extraordinary Irish raw milk cheese producers:
✨ St. Tola Goat’s Cheese (@st.tolaqueen) – From Ennistymon, Co. Clare, Siobhán and her team craft gourmet handmade goat’s cheese with a strong commitment to sustainable farming.
✨ Young Buck (@wheresthatjoebuck) – An amazing raw milk blue cheese by Mike’s Fancy Cheese in Newtownards, Co. Down. This cheese is crafted using a recipe from the 1917 book, "Practical Cheesemaking," and is aged for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Join us in celebrating the unique flavours of Irish raw milk cheese! Come by Daróg to taste these exceptional cheeses and support our local cheesemakers.
